After the accident and multiple media interviews I was able to get my message out to the public through social media and TV networks regarding personal health and motivational goals. I have received countless responses regarding the positive impact left with the individuals and or their families/friends which in turn planted the seed to pursue this further. I currently have goals of spreading messages of positivity and motivation through storytelling and life lessons I've learned thus far in my life. I am currently working with professionals to hone in my public speaking abilities to perform the best I can at each and every event while learning from each encounter to add to my story. My aim is to provide those in attendance with the best possible experience , leaving them with the motivational impact to inspire those around them and to make a positive impact in their communities.
what to expect
I will speak on Motivation/Information and Inspiration about my life story, hockey and rehabilitation endeavors. I will also talk about the life of someone living with a disability. I will explain the harsh world that those with disabilities have to face everyday (non-accessibility, not enough funding for therapy of any kind, medical supplies, etc.)and how clients/ whomever can help make a difference through the Straz Strong foundation.
